My current Observatory is located in Cohoes NY,on Van Schaick Island,The Observatory has Zhumell 20x80 SuperGiant Astronomical Binoculars on a heavy tripod, a Tasco 4" Newtonian Reflector and a C10 NGT Newtonian Scope with a Meade Lunar & Planetary Imager connected to a Toshiba Satellite custom L500D laptop with a AMD Athlon(tm)II Dual-Core M320 processor with 6GB of RAM running at 2.10Ghz running Windows 7 Professional. I am also a Skyguide with Astronomy FM,on two shows, The Event Horizon ( every friday night and Under British Skies(every third sunday of the Month). I also recommend Joining Remote Telescopes like GRAS & Slooh as having access to fellow amateur astronomers and remote telescopes where you are not clouded out is always good . I would also recommend joining a local and a National Astronomy club as this is good way to find what would be a good telescope for you and what you like to observe . Personally I recommend the following National Astronomy clubs , The British Astronomical Association , The Astronomical League and The Association of Lunar and Planetary Observers .
